By car:
Freeway A9 from North (Berlin / Leipzig), East (Chemnitz / Dresden),
South (München / Nürnberg) to HERMSDORFER KREUZ,
then
approx.10 km A4 directionWest (Frankfurt / Erfurt) to
EXIT JENA GÖSCHWITZ
Freeway A4 from West (Frankfurt / Erfurt) to EXIT JENA GÖSCHWITZ.
In JENA GÖSCHWITZ B 88 (approx. 4 km)
direction North.
After a power station on the right and a SHELL petrol station on the
left , after a few 100m LIDL supermarket on the right turn left at the
traffic light, direction FACHHOCHSCHULE. Pass COLUMBUS
CENTER on the left and traffic light at premio / REIFEN WIRTH on the
right. At the second
traffic light (approx 200 m later) in a sort of
U - turn half right (dont take the small
road sharp right and do not turn left to Magdala and
Ammerbach).
After curve: BUS STOP Grüne Aue on the right. After a smooth slope
on the
right:
FLI. Parking either in the small street on the right
(Beutenbergstr.) or on the parking lots on the left.
In the Beutenbergstr, a structure reminding to the Brandenburg Gate in
Berlin. There on the left a few steps down, the two floors up. Office
is behind the glass door.
By train: From
South or North: German railway (DB) station "JENA PARADIES"(completely different from JENA WEST.)
Taxi (approx.10 Euro) is recommended (public traffic: optimal way difficult to find)
From
East via GERA or from West via WEIMAR : DB station
"JENAWEST"(completely
different from Jena Paradies). Take Bus 10, 13 or 40 (4
min walking) direction Burgau, Göschwitz (uphill).
Pass FACHHOCHSCHULE and CARL ZEISS. Leave at Station "BEUTENBERG
CAMPUS". FLI is directly on your left. We are in the
WESTFLÜGEL
