A note to users
Dear customers of FACSAria,
there are several rules that you should follow in order to sort cells in our FACS facility:
- The FACSAria must only be used by the operators (Anne Gompf and in exceptional cases Simone Tänzer).
- Please arrange an appointment for sorting (at least 2 days before sorting would be great).
- Before sorting, the design of the experiment (number of cells, type of sorting, control-stainings etc.) and all technical details must be discussed with the operator.
- Before sorting, you must measure the cells on a FACS Analyzer and discuss the analysis (FSC / SSC-profile, autofluorescence, intensity of fluorescence signal) with the operator while designing the experiment.
- Filtering cell suspensions is absolutely necessary!
