FLI - Master Program

The FLI offers Master projects within the framework of joint programes with defined universities. Upon successful completion of their thesis, selected master students have the possibility to apply for the PhD program at the end of their research visit.


• China Agricultural University in Beijing (CAU), China

The Leibniz Institute for Age Research - Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) and the China Agricultural University in Beijing (CAU) have signed a Joint - Educational Agreement on Master Degree in Biomedical Science. The program started in January 2009. The CAU master's students complete the major class and interim exams of the CAU degree before they will be selected to enter the program. Selected students come to the FLI for a period of twelve months of research. These master students have the possibility to apply for the PhD program at the end of the research visit.

• Capital Normal University in Beijing (CNU), China

The Leibniz Institute for Age Research - Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) and the Capital Normal University in Beijing (CNU) have signed a Joint - Educational Agreement on Master Degree in Biomedical Science. The program started in 2010. The CNU master's students complete the major class and interim exams of the CNU degree before they will be selected to enter the program. Selected students come to the FLI for a period of twelve months of research. These master students have the possibility to apply for the PhD program at the end of the research visit.

• Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou (ZJU), China

The Leibniz Institute for Age Research - Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) and the Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou (ZJU) have signed a Joint - Educational Agreement on Master Degree in Biomedical Science. The program started in 2011. The ZJU master's students complete the major class and interim exams of the ZJU degree before they will be selected to enter the program. Selected students come to the FLI for a period of twelve months of research. These master students have the possibility to apply for the PhD program at the end of the research visit.

• University of Sofia "St. Kl. Ohridski", Bulgaria

The Leibniz Institute for Age Research - Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI) and the Biological Faculty, University of Sofia "St. Kl. Ohridski, Bulgaria (BF) have signed a Joint - Educational Agreement on Master Degree in Biomedical Science. The program will start 2010. The BF master's students complete the major class and interim exams of the BF degree before they will be selected to enter the program. Selected students come to the FLI for a period of ten months of research. These master students have the possibility to apply for the PhD program at the end of the research visit. The selection will take place in March 2010 in Sofia. The advertisments can be found here.
