Current Buildings

The FLI is currently spread over several buildings:

The laboratory building (2) houses the research groups Große, Herrlich, Morrison, Tuckermann and Wang and the facilities protein crystallography, mass spectrometry and radioactivity lab.

The adjacent lab building (3) houses the research groups Calkhoven, Diekmann, Greulich, Heuer, Kaether, Ploubidou and Than as well as several facilities (electron microscopy, high throughput screening, FACS, confocal microscopy).

In building (4), the group Sühnel (JenAge) is located as well as offices for research groups and the administration.

The South wing of the lab building (5) houses the research groups Cellerino, Englert, Görlach, Platzer and Weih. The North wing has recently been removed to give space for a new FLI building (1).

The building (6) houses the NMR facility.

An animal facility and a fully equipped histology lab is maintained in buildings (7) and (8).

The 'Villa' (9) contains several office and meeting rooms.
