Current Buildings
The FLI is currently spread over several buildings:
- The laboratory building (2) houses the research groups Große, Herrlich, Morrison, Tuckermann and Wang and the facilities electron microscopy, mass spectrometry, and radioactivity lab.
- The adjacent lab building (3) houses the research groups Calkhoven, Cellerino, Diekmann, Greulich, Ploubidou, Schilling and Than as well as several facilities (FACS, confocal microscopy).
- In building (4), the research group Sühnel is located as well as offices for research groups and the administration.
- The South wing of the lab building (5) houses the research groups Englert, Görlach, Heuer, Kaether, Platzer and Weih. The North wing has recently been removed to give space for a new FLI building (1).
- The building (6) houses the NMR facility.
- An animal facility and a fully equipped histology lab is maintained in building (7).
- The 'Villa' (8) contains several office and meeting rooms.
